User experiences

Earlier smart phone was Nokia N97, which had also touch screen and external qwerty keyboard. Earlier mentioned requirements were also prerequisites for choosing first HTC model.

Current personal user experiences in brief (Desire Z's pros and cons):

+ Android (Froyo 2.2) is workable and stable operating system.
+ God expandability and formability.
+ Accurate screen (Multi-touch tech vs. Nokia N97)
+ Efficiency: CPU (800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 Snapdragon), 512MB RAM and 1.5GB Flash storage capasity.
+ Flash support.
+ MS Exchange support.
+ Other?

- Camera's excellence (vs. Nokia N8)
- Stock applications'
functionality (however possible to use replacements).
- Other?

First Android

After long consideration I decided to buy first HTC smart phone. I decided to buy HTC Desire Z mainly by following reasons:

- Android
- External qwerty keyboard
- Versatile features

I bought phone without operator locking from Finland (home country). Price was 399 euro. Also updated my current operator contract with following service: Mobile internet connection (0,5MB/s, 1 GB transfer/month) with special offer: 1,9€/month.
