Assuming Desire Z tweakers has noticed that Virtuous Quattro ICS port has been received worth of mention goals. Still RC2 isn't fully stable as not expected: camera isn't working perfectly, still some graphical clitches and other minor bugs requires more development, but in overall level progress is nice.
Quattro's current builds can be downloaded from here. Also dev discussion can be followed from same location.
Still I'll stay in CM7 KANG builds 'cause my Desire Z is only phone which I'm able to use daily. In that specific reason I need to have quite stable and working ROM instead of swapping (with full wipe) every week or even often while noticing that even some minor bug won't allow to use my phone in daily purpose.
But still it's possible to announce that we're getting close to stable and "fully" working build, which will be provided by Virtuous, Cyanogenmod or other related team.

Lazy dev
I've noticed that lately my dev has been lazy, mainly swapping to newer CM Nightly ver. Currently running #259 (Nov 13rd 2011) with CM own kernel. Average battery duration is between 36 and 48 hours with average usage.
Still waiting ICS port from CyanogenMod. One day, one day it'll be The Day.

Feeling and posting lazy
I'd like to apologize to my readers being too lazy to post my DZ dev flow.
Currently running Cyanogenmod's Nightly 237 (10222011) with its own kernel (2.6.35.14).
In overall level new 2.3.7 base looks and works smooth. I tried also newest Tiamat's kernel but battery usage was better with CM's own kernel. Still unfortunately battery duration has decreased a bit from previous base, 2.3.5.
But still I like new candy and smooth working base and waiting new ICS port like winning in weekly lottery.

Updated CM Nightly and Tiamat's kernel
Updated CyanogenMod Nightly custom ROM from #153 to #177 and Tiamat's kernel from 1.04 to 1.10. Decided to flash ROM without full wipe (just wipe cache and dalvik cache) instead of losing all personal data and installed applications.
Nothing to lose 'cause I took first Nandroid backup and relied that it would work smoothly. Other matter which supported my decision was that during update base would stay same (2.3.5).
After Nandroid backup and flashing earlier mentioned currently newest (Aug 23rd) Nightly and Tiamat's kernel, noticed that my DZ was operating without any negative issues.
Even though I promised at last post that this post would be Juice'd, still decided to not add it here. In spite of not using Juice, I got appr. 6 days battery duration.

A bit more battery duration improvements
Google'd a bit and tried few tricks and had 96+ hours duration and still not yet touched to idle, min and max cpu clocks.
Briefly how I've used my DZ during four days:
- few calls and messages daily
- several mail sync daily
- few Facebook checks daily
I keep this post short cause main idea was post next battery duration test results. So specific duration:
4 days 25 min 25 s and 12% left. This with stock battery (1350mAh).
Next post should be Juice'd.

Newest CM nightly [August 2nd 2011]
After using Cyanogenmod Vision 7.03 (Stable) for a while, I decided to change current custom ROM to newer, more adjustable and editable CM Nightly alternative. CM Nightly's version was 157.
I decided to use full wipe before installing new custom ROM just for avoiding any stability or other workaround issues. After installing newer custom ROM, I installed Tiamat's 1.04 kernel.
After using using battery calibration app and installing all essential applications, I charged battery and tried to get some stats for battery duration. First test results showed 50+ hours duration. It was reasonable when considering that only used tweaks were based on screen brightness level and powersave mode.
Next step is install UltimateJuice for tweaking CPU clock levels (idle/min/max) to get final improvements. Also planning to replace stock battery (1350mAh) to Mugen Extended Battery (1800mAh).
Next post provides newest stats of improved battery duration.
